About the Speaker: Dennis is the Director of Visitor Services at the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium. In 1992, he received his B.B.A. from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dennis spent the next 19 years with one of the leading Hospitality and Tourism organizations in the country, Gaylord Entertainment. Gaylord Entertainment is widely known for its world class hotel brand and attractions such as the Grand Ole Opry. During his tenure there, he had planning and operational involvement in many high volume events from "Fan Fair" with the Country Music Association to "A Country Christmas" at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. In 2012, he joined the executive team at the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium and now oversees all park related revenue generation related to guest visitation. Dennis currently chairs the "Lights Before Christmas" planning committee and his team is responsible for the day to day operation of the program.
