Earn up to 3 PDUs (1 PDU for this event) with PMIWLEC’s June two part “Networking” event, part 1.

There will be a $5 admission fee to be paid by cash or check only at the door. Admission includes networking, a grazing station, and the presentation “What, Why and How of Networking” by Becca Moore of Kent, OH. You may order off of the menu if you choose, and there will be a cash bar. Grazing station will be in place at 6:00 PM EST and the one hour presentation will begin at 6:30 PM EST.

“Networking” can be viewed as the framework that you build to “host” your communication skills. It is an important soft skill and an integral part of Project Management (PM). “Networking” is not only an important PM and professional skill, it spills over into all facets of our life. Join us, have fun and learn!

The Dinner meeting will also be our 2010 election for the Board of Director’s. A job description of each position has been included for those interested in getting involved. The following positions are open:

About the speaker:  

Rebecca ‘Becca’ Moore is an Information Technology Professional with extensive experience in a variety of industries and all facets of management, project implementation, and financial oversight of computerized technology and information systems. Becca is currently working as a consultant for Patina Solutions. She has conducted many LinkedIn Seminars and training courses for companies and individuals across Northern Ohio.

Personally, Becca has used LinkedIn successfully to obtain job interviews, make, and grow professional relationships all around the world. She is currently using LinkedIn to build her Public Speaking, Writing and Voice Over network of professionals in her quest to move into those fields full time when she retires from her industry.

Becca resides in Kent with her two children, Justin and Raquel. She enjoys working on her first book, reading, sewing, selling on EBay, and spending time with her children
